Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is set to be the new face of fashion label Balenciaga's summer wear campaign.

The Brazilian model, who walked the runway for the brand's spring/summer 2011 collection, has already shot the campaign for the forthcoming season in New York with Steven Meisel, Contactmusic reported.

The 30-year-old beauty has previously fronted campaigns for Christian Dior and Victoria's Secret and will replace Stella Tennant, Freja Beha Erichsen and Karen Elson to be the new face of the Spanish luxury fashion house.
Bundchen is juggling her Balenciaga role with being a first time mother - her son Benjamin was born in December 2009 - and recently said motherhood is a"wonderful"experience.

Pop princess Britney Spears believes that the secret behind her toned figure is that she runs after her two sons.

The'Womanizer'hitmaker, who has five-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, four, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, claimed that running after them has made her more active in everyday life, Contactmusic reported.

"How do I keep slim? Having two boys definitely helps, and I love to dance. It's the best way to stay in shape,"Spears said.

Though the singer loves looking after her children she also likes to indulge herself in beauty treatments.

"I love treating myself to a spa day. Massages are my favourite,"she said.

The 28-year-old singer enjoys changing her make-up style as well depending on her mood.

"Sometimes I keep it simple and don't wear much make-up - just a little mascara and lipgloss. Other times, I'll play around and do heavier make-up or some fun lipstick,"she added.

However, when it comes to beauty icons, Spears blindly follows Madonna for ideas in revamping her appearance.

The Disney star insisted that it would be a dream come true if they could record a song together, Contactmusic reported.

"I'm so a massive fan of Cheryl. I want to be her best friend! I love everything about her. She's my role model. It would be my dream to collaborate with her,"said Gomez.

The'Closer'star hates to be judged on the basis of her looks and does not understand why some people, particularly guys are so obsessed with their appearance, Contactmusic reported.

"Beauty can be a hindrance, especially if that's the only thing that matters to other people. I'm also aware that being considered attractive can be a huge factor in getting work in my profession. Beauty can be boring if you're with a guy who is focused on his looks or your looks all the time,"said Portman.

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has bought her son Romeo a mobile phone and the eight-year-old keeps calling his friends in the middle of the night.
The fashion designer, who has three sons with soccer star David Beckham and currently lives in Los Angeles, said that her son is struggling to get to grips with the time difference between LA and his friend's home in London and calls them at unsociable hours, reported Contactmusic.
"Romeo just got a phone. He's got a little Pay-As-You-Go. It's good for him because he loves to text. We got a message from Tana Ramsay, Gordon Ramsay's wife, saying,'We don't mind, but for your information Romeo's been phoning the house in the middle of the night asking to speak to our kids. I don't mind but maybe he should be aware!',"said Victoria.
Romeo particularly enjoys using his new mobile phone because it is the same one used by his idol, teen singer Justin Bieber.

Stepping away from an all-out glam avatar, actress Katrina Kaif is making heads turn with her girl-next-door look as she shoots her new film'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'in the capital these days.

The 26-year-old actress has been spotted filming scenes for the new Yashraj movie with Imran Khan in various parts of the capital including Connaught Place and Jama Masjid sporting plain tees and jeans.

"Since the film is set in North Delhi, her clothes are very casual keeping in mind how a girl of today would dress up here. We have used colours like pinks and oranges to make her look young. There are some unusual pairings like kurtis with jeans or cargos, which you haven't seen on Katrina before,"designer Rocky S told media.

"It is a very light young romantic film and Katrina plays a girl who has returned from London. Her entire wardrobe for the film is very modern, with a hint of tradition for the occasions where she dresses up in Indian clothes,"he added.

One of the favourite designers for B-town celebs, Rocky is busy designing for actresses Eesha Deol and Bipasha Basu as well.

"I am working on two-three films currently. I am doing Eesha's clothes for her new movie'Tell Me Oh Khuda', produced by her mother. And I am also designing for Bipasha in her next film,"said Rocky, who launched his Festive Collection at the Aza store here on Thursday.

Model Aanchal Kumar has been evicted from Big Boss 4 after receiving the lowest number of votes, even as actor Ali Merchant has bid farewell to the house just a day after his marriage to TV star Sara Khan.  

Kumar was competing for audience attention against film actor Ashmit Patel and television actress Dolly Bindra. Her elimination came after then house captain Hrishant Goswami nominated her by using his special privileges.

Meanwhile, actor Ali Merchant has also left the reality show, a day after his wedding with Sara Khan. He was only a guest in the series and was allowed to stay only till the nuptials were over.

While Kumar was ecstatic leaving the'Big Boss'house, Merchant was visibly upset at leaving his new bride inside, during the episode telecast yesterday.

Kumar has nominated Veena Malik and Sara Khan for next week's eliminations. She is the fifth in line to be evicted from the Colors channel show.

Singer and actress Jessica Simpson has slammed rumours that she is upset over ex-husband Nick Lachey's recent engagement to Vanessa Minnillo, insisting she couldn't be happier for him.


In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM station on Thursday, the'Blonde Ambition'star addressed rumors of bitterness towards the couple's engagement, reported New York Daily News.

"I am extremely, extremely happy for him,"said Simpson.

Anne Hathaway snubs nudity contract

Hollywood beauty Anne Hathaway turned down a nudity contract before filming explicit sex scenes for her upcoming film, 'Love and Other Drugs'  as she didn't want the strict rules to interfere with her performance.

The 27-year-old actress essays a free-spirited and confident character who strips off frequently while romping with her co-star Jake Gyllenhaal in the film, Contactmusic reported.

Though'The Devil Wears Prada'star was petrified to bare all on the big screen, she opted to waive the standard nudity agreement which allowed her to dictate what can and can't be shown.

"I decided I didn't want to be doing these scenes and thinking,'Oh, I can only turn my body 36 degrees, because we'll be breaking contract,"she said.

'Harry Potter'  star Emma Watson is the latest victim of a nude photo scandal as a picture of her posing topless is circulating via e-mail at her American university.

The 20-year-old actress is reportedly seen in the photo standing beside a hot tub with a towel around her waist, reported Sun online.

The picture has reportedly caught on at the Brown University, Rhode Island - where Watson is a student - and is being shared through email.

But the actress claims the picture is a fake.

"There have been a number of nude fakes over the past two months. Emma has seen them and finds them tiresome. People should know better,"Watson's spokesperson said.

The British actress is trying to find the source who started the photo's circulation.

'Twilight'  star Ashley Greene has reportedly turned down a USD 75,000 offer from Playboy to pose in the buff.

Though she has been embroiled in a nude photo scandal previously, the 23-year-old beauty has decided not to strip for the men's magazine, according to celebrity blogger Zack Taylor.

Speculations are that her turning down the offer might have something to do with her current boyfriend, singer Joe Jonas, whose mother Denise doesn't agree with the relationship.

Denise reportedly thought Greene's profile doesn't fit in with the family.

Katy Perry has had a rather painful beginning to her marriage as the pop star was bit by a spider on her honeymoon.

The 'Teenage Dream' hitmaker headed to the Maldives for a romantic break with husband Russell Brand after their nuptials in India on October 23.

But the newlyweds' fun was short-lived. Within days of arriving, the singer developed a nasty rash after a tropical spider sunk its fangs into Perry's leg, reported Contact music.

The 26-year-old singer sought medical advice after the spider bite at the couple's plush suite in the Soneva Fushi resort. She was put on a course of medication which is said to have left her exhausted.

Hollywood bombshell Pamela Anderson has been slammed by an Islamic group for donating her USD 25,000 Playboy modelling fee to charity as they consider the money was obtained through "immoral acts".

The former 'Baywatch'  star posed nude for the January 2011 issue of the men's magazine and handed the cheque for the spread to Waves 4 Water, a charity that distributes filters to people who don't have access to clean drinking water in countries including Indonesia and Haiti, Contactmusic reported.

However, officials from the Islamic Defenders Front have objected to the donation, claiming it to be "against the law of God"  to hand the modelling money to charity.

"If she wants to be photographed naked, then she is challenging a bigger disaster to happen in Indonesia. It's haram (forbidden),"said Habib Umar Salim, head of FPI's advisory council.
