Teen star Selena Gomez is a big fan of pop singer Cheryl Cole and wants to record a duet with her.
The Disney star insisted that it would be a dream come true if they could record a song together, Contactmusic reported.
"I'm so a massive fan of Cheryl. I want to be her best friend! I love everything about her. She's my role model. It would be my dream to collaborate with her,"said Gomez.
The 18-year-old singer is also an admirer of Katy Perry and was grateful when the'California Gurls'hitmaker let her record the song'Rock God'instead which appears on Gomez's second album'A Year Without Rain'.
"Everyone wants songs written by Katy Perry. I asked her and she was so nice - she just said,'Yeah, you can have it.'She was very kind,"said the singer.
However, Gomez is not the only star who wants to work with Cheryl. R&B star Rihanna is also hoping to collaborate with the'Girls Aloud'beauty after they met on talent show'The X Factor'in which Cole is a judge.
"It seems like it's something my fans really want, and also something that's so not typical for me to do, work with another person who's in the same genre as me, so I think it'll be amazing,"she added.
